Itachi versus Madara Uchiha
Well, I know that Itachi and Madara Both Can't be compared and according to to the writer of Naruto,Itachi's true strength was never shown in the show so here are some points i want to share that Itachi is better.
As you all know Itachi is a Genius apart from his power and he excelled at every thing since he was just a kid. He had the ability to Beat Chunin level ninjas when he was just 6 to 7 years Old. Itachi cleared the Chunin level exams at age 10 And became a part of Anbu.
Itachi at age 13 he had enough power that he Killed his whole Clan Alone And joined Akatsuki at the same age . So you guys can see that Itachi accomplished a lot more that madara when he was Just a Kid . I know Madara's powers were exceptional but to look at this when Itachi killed his whole clan and Abandoned konoha just to save konoha He was going through a lot because he was the actual hero of konoha and sacrifised everything for his village but what he got in exchange 'defame'?!!!!
And According to Series that If a Uchiha Goes through trauma/Stress or the feeling of losing some one special their visual powers increase So according to that Uchiha Itachi visual powers were Exceptional .
Itachi was actually suffering from a respiratory disease which he was diagnosed with sometime after he joined the Anbu. Even though he continued to train and master his sharingan and genjutsu, this sickness limited his physical powers and stamina. That was also one the reasons why we couldn't watch Itachi Full powers.
Itachi Died at the age of 21 because of illness and intentionally by Sasuke because Itachi wanted so. But if Itachi was To live more I am Sure He could have Beaten Madara Uchiha .
Sidenote: Itachi was also the only Ninja who awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan at the early age of 8 after witnessing his friend's death.
